Youth

Our Youth groups are intended for young people in grades 6-12. For younger ages, please visit our Children’s Ministry page.

St. Martin’s-in-the-Field is committed to creating a supportive, welcoming, and Christ-centered community for youth.

EYC (Episcopal Youth Community)

An all-inclusive group of young people in grades 6-12 who come together for fellowship, food and fun. Gatherings are held twice a month on Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:00 p.m. See our events page for dates.

RITE-13

Throughout the year youth in grades 6-7 explore their faith and begin to make it their own. Middle school youth, with their leaders, participate in a variety of activities, group discussion and relationship building. A high point of the program is the Rite-13 liturgy and celebration for young people the year they turn 13. Class is held Sunday mornings 9:00-9:45 a.m.

Y2A (Journey to Adulthood Program)

The centerpiece of the J2A years is pilgrimage preparation where our pilgrims will learn the history and culture associated with sacred sites, foster connection and reflect on their relationship with God. Youth in grades 8-9, leaders, and parents work together to select a pilgrimage site and raise funds for the journey. J2A youth also learn about the beliefs of the church and grow in faith. Class is held Sunday mornings 9:00-9:45 a.m.

YAC (Youth Active in the Church)

High school youth grades 10-11, prepare to make their confirmation decision. YAC includes a mentoring program where young people meet with faithful parishioners to discuss their questions and potential doubts in an informal atmosphere. Class is held Sunday mornings 9:00-9:45 a.m.
