Children
The following programs are geared for children up to Grade 5. For youth in grades 6-12 please visit our Youth Ministries page.
Our Children’s programs provide an opportunity for the youngest members of the St. Martin’s community to develop a spiritual foundation, build friendships and engage in worship.
Sunday School
This is where the foundation of our children’s relationship with God deepens. There are two classes: Pre-K through 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade through 5th Grade. Children learn bible lessons through stories, crafts and activities. Our leaders teach our youngest members about embracing and celebrating the joy of God’s presence in their lives. Sunday School occurs during our Christian Education Sunday mornings 9:00-9:45 a.m.
Children’s Chapel
This program strives to deepen the children’s understanding of our Episcopal worship service. At the 10:00 a.m. service, children from 3 years old to 2nd grade may join our chapel leaders to experience an age appropriate Liturgy of the Word. During the Sequence Hymn children may remain in church or join our chapel leaders and then return to their families during the Peace.
Nursery
Infants and children ages 3 and under can enjoy play and activities with our nursery care team. Available Sunday mornings during the program year from 8:45-11:30 a.m. our nursery serves the youngest in our parish. Children are welcome to join parents to receive communion or a blessing. For directions to the nursery please see an usher on Sunday.
