Grace grew up in Baltimore with family all along the Chesapeake Bay. She and husband Jon have a baby girl, Phoebe, along with a cat and a dog who keep them busy. Grace loves laughing with family and friends, reading, and being active, whether swimming, running, or just chasing after her daughter. Her love of learning and desire to serve God have guided her studies: she earned a undergraduate degree in Biology from The College of William and Mary and completed seminary training at Yale Divinity School.
