Susan Beares is our Membership Coordinator. She is especially talented at welcoming new members and helping them to find a home at St. Martin’s. Susan enjoys her creative work as editor of The Herald, St. Martin’s monthly newsletter. She has been on staff since 2001, and has previously worked for several other Episcopal churches, as well as for the Diocese of Maryland. She and her husband attend the Episcopal Cathedral of the Incarnation in Baltimore, where she is a chalicist and member of their Prayer Shawl Ministry. Susan is chair of the Diocesan Council Planning Committee and has served or worked for Council for more than twenty years. She and her husband, Paul, enjoy biking and walking. They have a son, daughter, son-in-law and three grand-dogs.
